Climate & Agriculture • Astrophysics • Data Visualization

AWS Climate Data Science Fellow at Harvard. Building global crop yield datasets, mapping the interstellar medium in 3D, and making complex data accessible through interactive visualization.

This simulation is an interactive display of the types of computations we use in both astrophysics and climate science! Move your mouse around, click, and scroll to the bottom to learn more or change the opacity.

Climate & Agriculture

Building the world's most comprehensive subnational crop yield dataset. Coupling remote sensing with ground-based observations to understand how climate shapes agriculture.

✦

Astrophysics

Ph.D. from Harvard studying shock-turbulence interactions in star formation. Co-discovered that local star formation occurs on the surface of the Local Bubble. Created the first interactive 3D map of Orion to combine gas, dust, stars, and Barnard's Loop.

📊

Data Visualization

Contributor to glue, a linked-data visualization package. Helped produced the first augmented reality figure published in astronomy. Passionate about making data interactive and accessible.
